Next steps after 360 closes? Where & how blog/message be put or other's blog be accessed for commenting?
Is the changed over 360 going to be called 'my profile'? You may want to invite friends... personalise your own page! Will that be possible under the new system? In fact, the question is how interactive will the new experience be and how will it be accessed by the users?

UPDATED: The Yahoo! Profile beta is not a direct replacement for the Yahoo! 360 beta service. It's actually an upgrade of the ol' Yahoo! Members Profile. It's not meant to be a new and improved Yahoo! 360. Certain parts of 360 are migrating to the Y!Profile, then Yahoo! 360 service will close on July 13, 2009. The Y!Profile has been an active service since October 2008. The Y!Profile is an integral part of Yahoo's new "Open Strategy". They are expanding social-networking possibilities across many Yahoo services, with the Y!Profile being a centralized hub. Again, the Y!Profile will not necessarily have all the features that were available via Yahoo! 360. First, set up your Yahoo! Profile. Go to http://profiles.yahoo.com and complete the setup process if you haven't already. See http://help.yahoo.com/tutorials/prof/prof/prof_start1.html for a tutorial. The Yahoo! Profile is an ongoing project. You can read details about the functions it includes by reading the Help pages at http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/profiles/ . Throughout this activation process, information from your 360 Lists, Settings, Friends, and Blog area will be transferred over. In terms of the Friends and Blog, you will have to do some manual work. You should move your content by Sunday, July 12, 2009. Your 360 Friends will be intermingled amongst all the people that had been added to your Yahoo! Contacts (http://contacts.yahoo.com - i.e. formerly Yahoo! Address Book) under your Yahoo! Profile Contacts tab (http://profiles.yahoo.com/contacts.php ). You'll have to find pick out the friends that are from 360 and invite them to the new Y!Profile so that they can be upgraded from a "Contact" to a "Connection". See http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/profiles/connections/index.html for your invitation options. You have some choices in terms of where you can move your Yahoo! 360 blog. You can move your blog content to the Yahoo! Profile (http://profiles.yahoo.com ), another blog hosting website (like Wordpress - http://wordpress.com ), or your own domain. Note that 360 blogs designated as "mature content" will not be transferred to the Y!Profile. The 360 Blog Download Tool is available via this page: http://download.360.yahoo.com . Make sure to set your permissions for the blog when you're done with the transfer, if you are moving it to the Yahoo! Profile. Click the "Settings" link in the upper right corner of the Y!Profile. Wordpress will be added to the Y!Profile as an "update" option at some point. Currently, you can't change the background on the site or add background images to blogs. Blog entry customization is limited, even when using HTML code. Comments from 360 are showing from blogs, but they don't include the user's 360 names (likely a glitch). Videos are showing up, unless they were embedded with code that's no longer usable or if the videos had been pulled from the hosting site. There is an area for a status message (like the 360 blast). There are areas for comments (i.e. the Guestbook and Blog). You can add updates from Yahoo! services and some external sites that you use. Generally, where there used to be links to the Yahoo! 360 profile throughout Yahoo, there will be links to the Yahoo! Profile instead. Profile via these links: http://developer.yahoo.net/blog/archives/2008/04/introducing_the_1.html and http://ycorpblog.com/2008/10/16/your-social-control-panel .
